155. William⁶ Shier (James⁵, Charles⁴, Christopher³, Charles², Adam¹) reference 3408 (#3402) was born in Co.limerick, Ireland 1830. William died in Brock Township, Ontario.

He married Jane Watters. (Jane Watters reference 3409) (Jane Watters is #3403.) Jane was born ABT. 1842. Jane died January 5, 1898 in Brock Township, Ontario. Her body was interred in Sunderland Cemetery, Hwy. 12. In 1854 he went out to Illinios where his brother Nicholas had located. In 1858 he came on to Brock where he was known as Yankee Bill. He never took up land as a farmer in the township.

William Shier and Jane Watters had the following child:
