He married twice. He married Ann Barbara Legier 3 APR 1744. (Ann Barbara Legier is #1303.) Ann died 1763. He married Catherine Kennedy 5/12/1788. (Catherine Kennedy is #1313.) of Court Matrix, Cty Limerick, Ireland. a "freeholder" at Court Matrix in 1755. may also have spelled his name Switzer. also known as "FitzChristopher".

65 vi. Jacob Switzer (#1309) was born 1756. He was baptized 29 JUL 1756. Religion: religion unknown. of Pallas. ?Cty Limerick, Ireland. "Jacob of Martin the elder was baptised 05 Jun 1756. Jacob of Martin the younger was baptised 29 Jul 1756. The positioning of one at Pallas and the other marrying Harriett Shire is purely arbitrary.
